Spark Teens Yoga
In this one hour yoga class teens can expect a break from sitting and busy-work. They can expect a practice that serves a purpose; namely, to invigorate the body, soothe the nerves, and spark curiosity. While we explore forward folds, backbends, twists, and inversions, linking breath and movement, students will be encouraged to look within and shape their practice to their needs. Many options will be given throughout class to make this practice accessible to those who can't touch their toes and interesting to those who can stand on their hands. Yoga-philosophic themes will be threaded through classes, and we'll end each practice with time for silent reflection and restoration.

Classes are held Wednesdays through October 28th, from 4pm to 5 here at Spark. Please register beforehand. We are practicing safe social distancing so there are only 10 spots allotted for each class. If fewer than 4 students sign up for a class, we'll cancel and reconvene the next Wednesday. Parents will be notified of class cancellation by email the day before.
