Hello Travel Adventurers! Quick update on the small group trip to Turkey - I have links for both the full itinerary and tour information with a lot of details. If you’d like these links, please email me at annpeden@gmail.com and I’ll send you the links. One question I have received a lot is “is airfare included in the price?” It is not - you can either book it yourself or I will connect you to Troy at Southeast Travel and he will be glad to give you quotes & book your flights for you. We are planning a google meet call with the G Adventures tour coordinator on December 2nd for questions and more information, just let me know if you want to be in on that call and I will send the link to the call to everyone who has either told me - yes, I’m in! or yes, count me as interested! (if either one of those is you, please make sure you communicate that with me if you haven’t already). The tour will be a private tour as soon as we get 8 commitments (we have 2 right now - myself and one other), with a total of 16 available spots. If we don’t get 8, the tour still happens, but G Adventures will open up those spots to other travelers outside of our group. Exciting news from me - I leave tomorrow for my trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand with G Adventures (will post on facebook or instagram). Curious thing is planned this trip awhile ago (before I started planning the Turkey trip) and booked my flight to Hanoi on Turkish Airlines, and it must be serendipity because I get to visit Istanbul this Saturday on a layover, I’m very excited to get another small taste of Turkey! Below is a picture of my last trip to Istanbul with the Galata tower behind me. It was a midweek evening and the energy was amazing - the smells of the food and the Turkish coffee, so many people out enjoying cafes, the beautiful buildings and streets, the magical atmosphere as you can tell by the expression on my face! These are moments I’ll never forget. Here is my epiphany - This is one of my “someday” photos. For a long time, I thought “someday” I will get to travel and see the world, “someday” being somewhere, somehow, someday in the future. And then one day, I decided I wasn’t going to put off “someday” anymore and I made a decision to find a way to make “someday” today! I booked my flight to Germany almost two years ago and that was the start of a series of amazing adventures, saying over and over to myself - today (not “someday”) is the most amazing day ever!
