Clay Handbuilding Class, Make a Birdfeeder, Saturday, April 19th, 11-12:30 at Spark
Come to Spark on Easter Weekend, Saturday April 19th from 11-12:30 for a fun clay handbuilding class making a birdfeeder! Learn how to make a birdfeeder using handbuilding, a lot like rolling out cookie dough. This is one of my favorite projects - first, learn how to make a plate, decorate it with leaves and a little handsculpted bird. Use a garlic press to squeeze out clay to make the birdnest and add the eggs. We put turquoise glass pebbles around the nest that will melt in the kiln to make a fabulous effect. We promise, no experience necessary! Get your hands in the clay and learn something new! This is a great opportunity to try something new, also great to bring a friend or family member, fun guaranteed! $25, taught by Ann Peden.
